During 25 - 26 September 2019, the Embassy organised a series of activities, in collaboration with the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan and Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Thammasat University, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Bhutan. The commemorative activities included Thai Boxing Demonstrations at the Ugyen Academy: Be Your Best and Yangchenphug Higher Secondary School, a Special Lecture on Traditional Textile Conservation and a Fashion Show to showcase costumes and items designed by young Bhutanese designers that combine the textiles and the styles of Thailand and Bhutan at the Royal Textile Academy.
