On 8 August 2022, the ASEAN Dhaka Committee (ADC) celebrated the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) or the 55th ASEAN Day at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia. On this occasion, H.E. Dr. A.K. Momen, MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh graced the event as the Chief Guest by delivering a pre-recorded video speech.

On 4 July 2022 H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Thai Ambassador to Bangladesh, visited the Rohingya displaced persons Camp 9 in Cox's Bazar, to attend the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Reconstruction of the Teacher Resource Center damaged by conflagration in 2021. On this occasion, Mr. Sheldon Yett, UNICEF Country Representative and delegates also joined and witnessed the ceremony.
