On 11 November 2019, Dr. Yongyuth Mayalarp, Director of of  Phyathai Nawamin Hospital, led a delegation of doctors, nurses and marketing officers from Phyathai Nawamin Hospital to pay a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Arunrung Phothong Humphreys, Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh, at the Ambassador's Residence.  Issues of discussion included facilitation for Bangladeshi patients travelling to Thailand for medical treatment and possible cooperation between the Embassy and Phyathai Nawamin Hospital in promoting medical tourism in Bangladesh and medical cooperation between Thailand and Bangladesh.
