On 23 December 2019, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys presented her credentials to His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck at Tashichho Dzong. During the ceremony, the Ambassador was received by a traditional Bhutanese ceremonial procession (Chhipdrel), presented her credentials and participated in Bhutanese religious ceremony (Zhugdrel Phunsum Tshogpa) at the throne room.
