On 28 July 2020, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys presided over a ceremony to pay tribute to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and sign a well-wishing book to celebrate His Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2020. The ceremony was attended by officials of Team Thailand in Dhaka. As part of the Royal Thai Volunteers activities and merit-making on the occasion of His Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy donated basic food items, worth around 100,000 Taka, through Bidyanondo Foundation on 9 July 2020 in order to support its emergency response in assisting needed people in flood-affected areas in Bangladesh during the COVID-19 pandemic.
