On 25 October and 27 October 2021, Ambassador Makawadee Sumitmor paid courtesy calls on H.E. Mr. Md. Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and H.E. Mr. Salman F. Rahman, Private Industry and Investment Advisor to the Prime Minister respectively. Both sides shared information on the management of the COVID-19 situation and exchanged views on the way forward to strengthen bilateral relations in diverse dimensions. These include the FTA Agreement, investment promotion, transport facilitation and the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2022.
