Ambassador Makawadee Sumitmor Presents Letter of Credence to the President of Bangladesh

On 17 August 2021, H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand presented to H.E. Md. Abdul Hamid, Honourable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Letter of Credence accrediting her as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

On this occasion, the Ambassador and the Honourable President of Bangladesh exchanged views on the existing cordial relations between Thailand and Bangladesh, focusing on development cooperation, trade and investment, and COVID-19 response. Furthermore, both sides touched upon the possibility of exchanging high-level visit and organizing activities to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of Thailand-Bangladesh diplomatic ties in 2022.
