On 5 December 2020, Mr. Kraichok Arunpairojkul, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., handed over Braille books, snacks and fruit juice to Assistance for Blind Children (ABC), a charity committed to improving the livelihood of visually impaired children from poor families in Bangladesh, especially in providing them free education and eye care treatment. The donations came partly from the generous contributions of the Thai community in Bangladesh. Also present at the event were the Embassy’s officials, local staff, Secretary-General of Center for Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP), and representatives from Thai companies in Bangladesh such as CP Bangladesh and Italian-Thai Development.
