***Effective from 3 December 2023, official passport holders of Bangladesh are no longer required to provide a copy of Government Order (GO) for visa application.***

For official visit such as to attend meetings, seminars, conferences, trainings or workshops applicants are required to provide the following:
1. An invitation letter issued by the relevant ministry, institution, government agency or organization in Thailand;
2. A letter issued by the relevant ministry or agency in Bangladesh to which the applicants are affiliated, acknowledging their request to travel to Thailand and confirming that the GO is pending approval

For leisure visit, applicants are required to provide a letter issued by the relevant ministry or agency in Bangladesh to which the applicants are affiliated. The letter should acknowledge their request to travel to Thailand and confirming that the GO is pending approval. Additional documents depend on the purpose of visit. For instance, applicants traveling for medical treatment could submit appointment letter from the hospital.

Applicants are strongly advised to apply at least 7 working days before the planned travel date. The Embassy will process all visa applications according to the sequence of submission date.
