Ambassador paid farewell calls on Hon. Foreign Minister and Foreign Secretary, followed by farewell luncheon hosted by Foreign Secretary
On 8 October 2020, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys paid a farewell call on H.E. Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen, MP., Honorable Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations through increased exchanges of high-level visits and enhanced collaboration in areas of mutual interests such as trade, medical tourism, agro-processing and skills development under the first 3-year development plan between the two countries. The Ambassador also assured that Thailand would work closely with Bangladesh to advance cooperation in BIMSTEC during the Thai chairmanship for 2021-2022.
Following the farewell call, Ambassador Arunrung attended a farewell lunch in her honour hosted by Mr. Masud Bin Momen, Foreign Secretary, at State Guest House Padma.
